Terri Croft is an experienced violin and fiddle teacher, who has been teaching since a special circumstance brought her into it at the age of 10. Terri’s varied musical background, her volunteer work, her wealth of experience, and her active performance career have shaped her into an enthusiastic, sensitive, and extremely capable teacher.
Terri offers private in-home or studio lessons in Toronto where she is based. She has over 16 years of experience, and holds a Bachelor of Music (Dalhousie University), a Master of Music (Cleveland Institute of Music), and an Artist Diploma (The Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music) in violin performance. She also completed the coursework for Suzuki certification (Pre-Twinkle and Book 1), and incorporates some of the practices of the method in her teaching. She meticulously tailors her lessons to fit the learning needs and goals of each student. She is flexible and positive in her approach, and fosters in her students a curiosity toward sound, as well as a deep appreciation of music.
